Here are 10 characteristics of servant leadership summarized from views shared by Larry C. Spears, former president and CEO of the Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership.                                                                       

Rate yourself, on a scale of 1 (low) to 10 (high) on each characteristic.

Celebrate your higher scores, and develop those areas in which you scored lower.                                   
  1. Listening: listening intently to others, followed by periods of reflection.
